My First Powderskate Ride

It's the other half checking in today, we just got back from our Tahoe trip and had a super fun time. I took my first powderskate ride and it was a total trip; I'm not even sure how to explain the feeling. I do snowboard but haven't been on one in 3 years. The reason: our son was born in July 07 and I just really haven't had the chance, we don't live near our families, so when we go on trips, it's usually Adam out there trying to get the stoke on and I'm back manning the room with our son. Now that our son is getting a little older, he's able to come hang out on the mountain. So i took advantage this trip, and we took a little day trip over to Donner Pass, and found a little hill to hike up. I stepped on the powderskate and came flying down, although I'm sure it looks like I'm crawling, but the ride was totally awesome and exhilarating. So as you can imagine, i live and breathe powderskates and have heard all this hoopla about how awesome it is, but until you actually try it, you just don't know the feeling. So my lesson, that I will pass on to you all is this: Only a Powderskater knows the feeling! So get yourself out there and try it, as for me i can't wait for our next trip, maybe I'll even try to bust out a few slashes.
